Hm. I haven't spoken to Lynzie in several years, but she posted something on her journal that bears repeating.

Essentially, the admins here at DeviantArt are quite possibly, for lack of a better term, gender bigoted asshats.

Why do you ask?  Well, upon reading her journal here: Lynzie's Journal, I followed the link to read the story of the person she was referring to.

Essentially? dA will NOT change or add any gender neutral, transgender, or intersexed designations for people who aren't quite male/female in designation.  Oh yes, gender isn't solely the binary choice we've been taught to expect as growing up. In fact, one of my favorite artists on here is intersexed (the term used to be something else...look it up, educate yourself, I ain't doing it for you).  

So, yeah, read the LINK. For a site that calls itself "Deviant", it sure does seem devoted to being awfully plain vanilla when it comes to some things.
